In a strategic move to contribute to the development of the tourism sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and to enhance the quality of services provided in this vital field, Saudi Skills has signed a strategic partnership agreement with GSwiss Global Swiss Academy.

GSwiss is a Swiss-based academy specializing in delivering educational, consulting, and training services across various sectors, with a particular focus on tourism, hospitality, and hotel management. This partnership comes as part of Saudi Skills continuous efforts to advance and enhance training programs that meet local market needs while aligning with international standards.

Through this partnership, Saudi Skills will collaborate with GSwiss’s team of expert lecturers and consultants to deliver high-quality training programs aimed at equipping participants with the knowledge and skills required to elevate competence in the tourism and hospitality sectors. These programs will cover a range of topics—from enhancing hospitality skills to improving hotel and resort management—and will include field visits and specialized workshops.

This partnership aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to develop the tourism sector as a key pillar for economic diversification and to increase the contribution of non-oil sectors to the national GDP. The training programs provided through this collaboration will play a pivotal role in preparing national talents and equipping them with the global expertise necessary to achieve the Kingdom’s vision in tourism—by attracting more tourists and enhancing the quality of hotel and hospitality services in the Kingdom.

GSwiss Academy was chosen as a partner due to its global leadership in providing specialized educational programs since its establishment in 2001. The academy offers a wide range of training and consultancy services targeted at corporations, educational institutions, and executive professionals. Its offerings include customized educational programs, workshops, educational tours, company visits, and consulting services to upskill professionals in the tourism and hospitality industries.

It is worth noting that saudi skills is one of the Kingdom’s leading training and education providers since 1994. The company manages several specialized training institutes and brands and has a strong record of producing qualified graduates across multiple fields. Currently, two new institutes are in development:

1. The Skills Institute for Tourism and Hospitality, to be operated in collaboration with an international hospitality chain to provide world-class education for Saudi employees.
2. The Skills Institute for Culture and Heritage, which will offer services in strategy development, implementation, market research, and economic studies for both public and private entities.
